The onX Adventure Forever Grant program helps outdoors initiatives on the fronts of land acquisition, protecting access routes, trail building, supporting private land access, restoring trails and riding areas, and helping to grow the community of stewards for the hobbies that onX backs. This program helps make the continued enjoyment of off-roading (and other outdoors activities) possible, and submissions for grants runs through midnight Mountain Time on May 17th, 2024.

The scope of projects for which a request for grant money can be submitted is quite large. It ranges from securing land for outdoors activities to existing trail maintenance, education, clean up efforts, and so on. onX does want those interested in submitting for grants to know that should the May deadline be missed, the second submission window closes on August 16, 2024 at midnight Mountain Time. The dollar figure for these grants varies, but funding is usually provided in the range of $5,000 to $25,000, all of which must be used directly for the specific project under which the request was submitted. Decisions for the first round are expected to be made by late July, and by late October for the second round.

“At onX we believe that everyone should have access to the outdoors. But with that right comes great responsibility to take care of the places that fuel our adventures,” said Becky Marcelliano, onX Senior Brand Manager - Advocacy. “One way we do this is through our grant program. Since 2018, onX has helped secure and improve public access to 154,000 acres, and supported the maintenance and building of 255 miles of trails. These projects support all types of offroading, from 4x4 and dirt biking to snowmobiling. Maintaining access is a top priority for the motorized community, and we aim to be part of the solution.”
